It's a wonderful life!

So... yes it has been a very long time. Life is wonderful, but has been extremely crazy for me! I admire those people who are 10 times busier than I am and still keep things together. Not to mention their blogs are AMAZING and I have no idea how they find the time to be so spectacular.

Anyways... To fill in the gaps, here is what we have been up to.
Having fun at the Olympic Park

Little baby stuff
Jason at the Olympic Park
Our new car (not a good pic)
Shopping

It's a mummy!

Some Jack-o-lanterns :)
For fall break (2 weeks ago) we got to see our little bean before we headed up to Park City UT. Our little guy is growing very strong and we actually found out I'm farther along. I guess he just had a little bit of a struggle in the beginning with growing and being as big as he should be. I wasn't very happy to see how skinny he was, so I have vowed to eat more :) lol. Sometimes I love being pregnant for that very reason. It's ok for me to eat! (p.s our baby isn't a boy, although it might be... we just don't like calling it "it")

Once we got to Park City visited the Olympic Park, had an amazing dinner, did a ton of shopping, and passed out in Carters. Yes we were buying exciting little baby things, and yes I wasn't smart about it. A word to the wise, if you are pregnant and shopping make sure to listen to your body! Bring lots of water and food, especially if it is going to be a while. If I would have gotten the memo, my little episode wouldn't have happened LOL.

After our little adventure we were able to spend some time with our awesome family! Mostly because Jason stole the keys to my little sister's car on accident (who came for a visit from Rexburg), but we were happy for the excuse to drive up to Murray and spend sometime with them. We also made dinner for our apology and I was very proud that I made stew for the first time, and it was editable! Isn't it wonderful when you realize that your cooking is actually not that bad?!

The week continued on and happened to be very stressful. Taking breaks from my little third graders sometimes makes the week seem like a year! Plus I being the crazy person that I am, decided to take 3 university classes toward a possible masters. Very crazy idea, because I can promise you, working full time as a teacher and taking classes is a nightmare full of stress! I will be so happy when it is all over :)

Our Halloween was pretty exciting. The Saturday before we bought a beautiful Nissan Versa (we call it my mom car) and were able to make some new friends in the ward and played games with them for pretty much the whole night. Funny story with the car... Jason put our Taruas up for sale on KSL and not even 5 minutes later he sold it. We had to function with out only one car for a couple of days, but decided another car was a necessity. All I can say... the Lord has blessed us so much, and I love my new little red Versa :)

Sunday we carved some awesome pumpkins with our friends in Logan, and for actual Halloween I slept on the couch. I guess I got really lucky my 1st trimester with out ever getting sick, my 2nd trimester has been a bit difficult with lots of nausea and discomfort. I am always comforted by the sickness strangely, because at least we know our little guy is growing.

This weekend has been pretty fun. We were able to take my sister out for a delicious nice dinner for her birthday, and played Cranium (which by the way, Jason and I are really good... we just let everyone beat us ha ha) with amazing cheesecake, which I think I am going to make like everyday! It is so easy and so good! I guess not good for you though huh? My sister Siehara and her husband are coming over for some more fun tonight! Oh man, I love my amazing family. They are everything to me. I wish all of us lived closer...

If you are wondering about my baby bump (which you probably aren't, but I'm feeling a little self conscious) I have one now. It's not very big and really just looks like I'm fat, but it sure does get in the way a lot. Bending over isn't really very fun anymore... I didn't think I would have to go maternity shopping at 16 weeks, but I will be going very soon. My pants only fit if I sag them below my little belly, otherwise good luck with getting them buttoned. I am so excited to be a little family though. It is so crazy to think that our family will be bigger in just 6 months! I can hardly wait to be a mom to my little son or daughter. We are finding out what it is on November 16th, so place your bets now :)

Well, there is a quick update. In a couple of weeks we'll actually be headed to Iowa to visit Jason's cousin! I can hardly wait, because it will be the first of his family I have ever met! A 16 hour drive, but well worth it :) Enjoy your week this week! Only 2 weeks until Thanksgiving! YES!
